Two amply sized 1-1/4-inch tab handles on either side of the roaster are oven-safe and ensure a secure hold on this substantially weighted piece when lifting it out of the oven or bringing it to the table. The riveted stainless-steel handle on the top of the lid conveniently stays cool under high heats. This roaster comes with an anodized aluminum meat rack (which is really more like a trivet) that lifts roasts just a tad above the bottom of the cookware.
